ELLA SHEARER

Passed away peacefully at home in Leslie, on Tuesday 26th July 2022. Ella, aged 81 years, formerly of Kirkcaldy. Wife of the late Harold, much loved mum, and a dear gran and great-gran. Service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Friday 12th August at 3.00p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations may be given at the crematorium for Alzheimer Scotland, if so desired.

GEORGE RODGER

Passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday 22nd July 2022, with his family by his side. George, aged 77 years, of Dunfermline, dearly loved husband of Eileen, much loved dad of George and Andrew, devoted Di and a dear brother and brother in law. Service at Dunfermline Crematorium on Wednesday 10th August at 2.00pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. WALTER ROBERTSON

Peacefully with his family by his side at Cameron Hospital on 9th July 2022, Walter aged 96 years. Devoted husband to the late Agnes, much loved dad of William, step-dad of Nancy, father-in-law to Kathleen, and the late Danny and brother of Chrissie. Service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Wednesday 27th July at 3.00p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. CHRISTINE CARMICHAEL (née Muir)

Suddenly at Seamill, West Kilbride, on Saturday 18th June 2022, Christine aged 84, formerly of Kinglassie and known to many as Sister Carmichael of the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. Gone to meet Robert (Bob). Mum, Nana, Sister, Friend, she enriched the life of everyone who knew her and her loss is keenly felt. Her funeral will be on Monday 25th July at Kirkcaldy Crematorium at 11am, to which all are invited. Please wear light/bright colours if you can.

DAVID DEMPSTER

Passed away peacefully at Barrogil House, Cluny, on Wednesday 29th June 2022. Davy, aged 81 years, of Kirkcaldy. Much loved dad of Derek and Robert, dear brother of Adam and the late Robert and a much-loved grandad. Funeral Service will take place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Thursday 21st July at 11.45a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. JOSEPH "JOE" ROBERTSON

Passed away on Ward 33, Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, on Wednesday 15th June 2022.. Joe, aged 56 years of Kirkcaldy. Much loved son of Mrs Rebecca Robertson and the late George Leslie Robertson., loving brother of Gerard, Bernadette and the late Anne, loving partner of Niamh and father of James and Patrick RIP. Funeral Mass will take place at St Maries R.C. Church on Friday 1st July at 10.00a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Thereafter to Leslie Cemetery arriving at the cemetery gates at 11.30a.m. Family flowers only please but donations may be given at the church and cemetery for Jericho House, Dundee, if so desired.

WILMA ROBERTSON

Passed away peacefully at home on Monday 20th June 2022. Wilma, aged 86 years, of East Wemyss. Beloved wife of the late Louis Robertson, much loved mum of Karen, loving gran of David and Nicola and dear aunty to Alana. ALBERT MARSH

Passed away unexpectedly at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy on Friday 3rd June 2022. Bert (Albert), aged 93 years of Kirkcaldy. Dearly loved husband of the late Grace, much loved Dad to Kenneth, James, Brian, Angela and Dianne; and an adored Grandad and Great Grandad who will be so sadly missed. Passed away at home, after a bravely fought battle, with his loving family by his side on Monday 23rd May 2022. John, aged 79 years, of Glenrothes and formerly of Bowhill. Dearly loved husband of Helen, devoted dad of Lynn and Wendy, cherished grandad of Scott, Jade, Paige and Faye and treasured great-grandad of Payton. Nancy Cochrane

At Abbeyfield Care Home, Kirkcaldy on 26th April 2022. Nancy, aged 90 years, of Dysart. Dearly loved wife of the late Stan, cherished mum of Graham, Jackie and Susan, mother-in-law of Ray and much-loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Monday 23rd May at 1.30p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on Sunday 17th April 2022. Jean, aged 84 years formerly of Craigmount, Kirkcaldy. Dearly loved wife of Andrew, much loved mum and mother-in-law of Andrew & Jacqueline, Mark & Antonia and Laura & Kevin, loving grandmother of Sean & Ryan, Darren & Janine, Elliot, Rhiannah, Joshua & Paul and great-grandmother of Leo, Lacey, Lucas & Jacob and Mia. AGNES GALBRAITH

The family would like to announce, with great sadness, Agnes’ passing on Tuesday 8th March 2022, with her daughters by her side, in the special care of Marchmont Care Home, Kirkcaldy. Agnes, aged 91 years, formerly of Greenloanings, Kirkcaldy, loving Wife of the late John, much loved Mum to Betty and her husband Bronc and Joan and her husband Paul, cherished Grandma of Barry, Chloe, Tara and Carla, Great-Grandma to Ava, Ramona, Romano, Shay, Lila, Brody and Morgan, also a special Sister, Sister-in-Law and Aunty. Too dearly loved to be forgotten. Funeral Service at Torbain Parish Church, on Monday 28th March 2022 at 12noon, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, followed by a private family committal. ANGELA BROWN

(nee Beveridge) Passed away peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, on Monday, 30th August, 2021, aged 57 years. Beloved wife of Craig and much loved mum of Nadia and Alexandra. Angela was a loving grandmother to Skye, Rhys, Joshua and adored her dog Dylan. Angela’s funeral service will take place at Hayfield Cemetery, on Monday 13th September at 11.00am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Can you please wear a little bit of “Bling” ’cause that was her thing.

Passed away very peacefully, after a short illness, in Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy on Saturday 10th July 2021. Sandy, aged 78 years of Glenrothes and formerly of Kelty. Retired director of J.B.W. Smith of Cupar. Dearly loved husband of Jen, much loved dad of Callum, Fiona and Sandy, and a dearly loved father-in-law and Grandad, who will be so sadly missed by all his family and friends. Service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Tuesday 27th July at 2.15p.m. People wishing to pay their respects please wear a mask and maintain social distancing at all times.
